This week the first 2 sets of blades were brought to the site at the project called Alaska in Wareham UK. The police had to escort the exceptional transport for the last part. As you can see they seemed to like it as they were active in taking pictures.

These Vestas V80s, 100m hub height, came from Lommel in Belgium and will be installed for their second live. The location is in a live quarry with logistic challenges and height differences at site of 20m.
At this moment foundation construction is ongoing. Next month the wind turbines will be installed and operational before Christmas.
