In windpark Dirkshof, Germany, we started decommissioning the first of three Vestas V112’s. After severe preparation, creating special lifting tools and transport frames, the first nacelle touched ground last week.

These wind turbines, relatively young, have to be decommissioned to extend a high voltage station. The destination for these three is Sweden where they will replace Führlander and Sinovel wind turbines.

This is a new step in the carrier of Business in Wind; going to next level in size of wind turbines with 112m rotor diameter.
