Ocean-going vessel the BBC Lagos moored this week at TMA in Amsterdam to transport six wind turbines to their next destination.
These V80 wind turbines were decommissioned earlier this year by a team from Business in Wind at windpark Kubbeweg in Biddinghuizen, part of Windplan Groen, in Flevoland.
It was quite a challenge to get all parts of the six V80 wind turbines loaded in time. After loading is finished, the ocean-going vessel sails this cargo to Bari where the new owner will take them over and take care of transport to the new site where they will be installed again in Italy.
