After many operational years in wind farm Waardtocht in the Netherlands, a Vestas V66 is overhauled (refurbished) and re-installed. The turbine is installed next to the factory of a carpet manufacturer in South Wales, UK. For the new owner we were responsible for the following activities:
- Purchase of the turbine
- Refurbishment and modifications conform land and location specific requirements. For example, modifications were necessary to comply with the G59 regulations.
- Grid connection
- Design of the foundation
- Supply of the turbine and insert ring
- Transport of the main components
- Installation and commissioning
