At TMA Logistics in Amsterdam four Vestas V90’s 3MW wind turbines were loaded in the hull of the Amasus Vessel Western Rock. The destination of this ship is Barletta in Italy.
Three of the V90’s nacelles were decommissioned earlier this year in Rotterdam, previously owned by Pure Energie, refurbished by us and prepared for Italy. The towers of these three were decommissioned in Kats, previously owned by Zeeuwind. We mixed the projects to answer customers’ requirements.
The fourth V90 3MW wind turbine was decommissioned at Jacobahaven, along the Oosterscheldekering, previously owned by E-Connection.
In about two weeks the wind turbines will arrive in Barletta, to be transported to the final destination in the south of Italy. There these four turbines will start again to produce renewable energy during their second life.
