Together with Breman Bending B.V. and Breman Machinery B.V. we were able to create new parts and together is called an adapter. In Sweden a Sinovel nacelle will be taken off the existing tower. This adapter is going to be on top of the tower and on top of that an used Vestas V112 will be installed.
This is called soft repowering, using an existing tower and foundation and replace the best technical wind turbine which fits on this tower. That requires thorough engineering, high quality production of the adapter and motivated partners and team to make this a success.
