To prepare three Vestas V52 850 kW for a second life in Northern Ireland, all three did undergo a thorough refurbishment in our workshop in Barneveld, NL.One V52 is from Germany and the other two had a good life in the Netherlands.

After a detailed technical inspection, it is determined what had to be refurbished or replaced. This has all been done and all components are sorted and labeled to ensure a smooth reinstallation again. Next to that they all have been cleaned and repainted.

Last week a representative of the customer Everun has inspected the Vestas V52s and confirmed he is satisfied with the result. Today, they were loaded onto trucks so that they can be transported from our workshop to their new destination in Northern Ireland. Once installed, they will be able to generate energy for many years to come.
