Totally 24 Vestas V66 turbines were sold to a customer in Kazakhstan. The turbines came from 3 different wind farms in the Netherlands. Business in Wind took care of the dismantling, transportation, and loading of the vessels. In total, more than 170 heavy wind turbine components were transported to Greenport Rotterdam. The first batch with 12 turbines came from the Klokbekertocht and Rivierduintocht wind farms. Those wind farms will be repowered again with larger turbines.
