Totally 24 Vestas V66 turbines were sold to a customer in Kazakhstan. The turbines came from 3 different wind farms in the Netherlands. Business in Wind took care of the dismantling, transportation, and loading of the vessels. In total, more than 170 heavy wind turbine components were transported to Greenport Rotterdam. The second batch with 12 turbines came from wind farm De Plaet. The project went very smoothly and in the end, the team was able to dismantle 3 turbines in just 2.5 days.
