Excellent performance in the field of sustainability - energy saving, CO2 reduction, good water and waste management - are today's conditions for healthy, conscious and successful business. In the design and realization of the new Business in Wind facility, BREEAM Excellent is the starting point.
BREEAM is the most important and used sustainability label in the world. It involves the use of highly sustainable construction methods and materials. This objectively measurable realization of a very sustainable and partly circular building. This makes the building energy efficient, has a low environmental impact, is low maintenance and represents a higher market value than comparable non-certified projects.
The building will be modeled entirely in BIM. This avoids failure costs and unnecessary material waste to the maximum extent possible.
A procurement strategy has been drawn up, keeping the impact of materials on the environment as low as possible with an LCA (Life Cycle Cost Analysis) for each element.
All wood used in the project is demonstrably certified with an FSC label for sustainable forestry.'With pleasure in your work, safety and quality is no problem'
A sustainability manager will be appointed to set targets and monitor progress during implementation. This will minimize the impact on the environment.
In addition to being energy efficient, maximum effort will be made to ensure the comfort and health of the future user. This includes strict daylight standards, indoor climate requirements and a ban on the use of substances containing volatile organic compounds.
