After years of service in the Netherlands, this Vestas V90 nacelle has been dismantled. It has been expertly refurbished with great care at Business in Wind’s new workshop in Barneveld, the Netherlands and the control system upgraded with DEIF control system.
Last week, the nacelle was loaded onto a truck in Barneveld for transport to Sweden. The drivers faced quite a challenge getting their cargo to its final destination, which was at the top of a ski slope. Some made it to the top under their own power, while others needed extra pulling assistance. 
Last week, this refurbished nacelle was installed on Vestas tower sections from Germany in Äppelbo, Sweden. 
In addition to installing this V90 turbine, one NM52 turbine was also dismantled. This NM52 was taken over by a Swedish company to be used as spare parts.
