From May 2nd Business in Wind started preparations at site for the dismantling of Kubbeweg wind farm near Biddinghuizen, province of Flevoland.
The wind farm is a private initiative of farmers and was built in 2006. The farm consists of seventeen Vestas V80 2 MW turbines with a total capacity of 34 megawatts and produces energy for approximately 25,000 households.
Meanwhile, the first wind turbine has gone and is getting a second life in Sweden. The first row of eight are now being dismantled one after the other. In August, the second phase will start with the second row of nine wind turbines.
