Last week one Vestas V90 3MW disappeared from the horizon in Sealand (Zeeland) near the Oosterscheldekering. We bought the turbine from E-Connection, Jacobahaven.

For repowering three Vestas V90 3MW, wind turbines will be decommissioned and replaced by Enercon wind turbines.
The first one was decommissioned in April this year and is already in Italy for a second life. This one will also go to Italy within the coming weeks.

The last one will be decommissioned in Spring coming year and does not have a destination yet, although the expectation is that also Italy will be the destination. As always near the Oosterscheldekering the sites are challenging and often windy. With some luck regarding the weather decommissioning went smoothly. Foundation demolition is the next step. When this is done, GMB can prepare the site to install the Enercon coming year.
